Ambiance is cozy and homey, a bit loud, but not overwhelmingly so. Got the Salmon Crema and calamari. Service was great, Emily was our server and was super kind and generous with the Chicago recs too! The food is reasonably priced for the quantity and comes out quick and hot. They have trivia on tuesdays and since it was a friday I got a $6 moscow mule, very yum.

Great spot in Lincoln Park with solid food. Usually pretty fast with homey aesthetic. Lots of different options to pick from so it's pretty hard not to find anything that you don't like. As a person that's not really into pasta. I usually have this as my speedball when I want it.

What can be said about the Pasta Bowl that hasn't already been said? This place is a Northside Chicago staple. Very honest and tasty Italian food at a great price. Dine in and carry out. The Conchigile Pollo is easily the most popular dish and house specialty. If Dining in, check out "The Other Side" bar for after dinner drinks and shenanigans. That's where I take my hot ass wife to get blackout drunk. Honduranian girl wasted!!!!

Yummmm My favorite dish here, which I nearly always get, is their Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, which has a yummy af cream and is hearty. A bar is connected to this restaurant, which can be fun because you hear and/or see folks playing darts and freaking out over sports games on the TVs in there. Kinda dark setting, which I like. Friendly staff.

Incredible hidden gem in Lincoln Park. I've walked past this place a million times and never noticed it, but stopped in because everywhere else nearby required a reservation on a Saturday. We were seated immediately at one of the high tables, it is a quaint place, with an open kitchen. Bread service comes with garlic butter and unlimited bread, but the bread isn't hot or special at all. All of the pasta looked incredible, it was hard to pick one. Ended up ordering the Capellini Pomodoro and the Farfelle Pollo. Both of the pastas came steaming hot, piled with cheese, it was amazing. One pasta dish here is at least 2 meals. If you are a pasta lover, want something casual, and are interested in lots of options, check out The Pasta Bowl . Their pasta, portions, and prices are unbeatable in Lincoln Park.

This is the cozy, classic, big portions, no frills neighborhood Italian spot! Finally tried the pasta bowl on a 3 degree snowy night and it was sooo good. We were in a bit of a hurry and the service was excellent and food came out so quick. We split the strawberry, walnut, pear salad as well as the chicken parm. The salad was actually phenomenal - tons of toppings, perfect dressing ratio, and I loved the fresh strawberries and pears. The chicken parm was classic, cozy, and saucy and you can really taste the freshness of the tomato sauce. The portions for both were also huge. I was impressed by the prices for food as well as drinks. Perfect spot for a casual dinner!

The lobster ravioli is phenomenal. It has a lot of sauce that you can dip the bread that is provided into. There is a perfect amount of spinach and sun dried tomatoes where it isn't too overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is very low light and gives off the vibe of a dive bar which is really interesting and unique. However, this was a takeout order so I don't believe a tip should be asked for for a takeout order. The food is great and I would definitely go back.

This is a good one, y'all. A restaurant dedicated to pasta? I'm in. And yes, they primarily serve pastas here besides a few salads and apps! First off my friends and I (a group of 5) came here on a Saturday around 4ish; there was a 30 minute wait which is pretty standard for a busy Saturday at a smallish restaurant. Seating here is pretty limited and it's a tight space. You're pretty close to others sitting by you and people are constantly hustling and bustling around you. Our server was so nice! I forget her name but she was very personable and thorough. They were out of 2 ingredients to make a certain cocktail and then out of another cider beer that my friend ordered. I ended up getting the limoncello spritz and it was okay! The pasta was superb - no surprise. They had over 15 pasta dishes and it was seriously hard to choose which one. We all absolutely loved the farfalle pollo, the chopped salad, and gnocchi Aurora. I really wanna try even more pastas and their appetizers. Will definitely come here again plus check out their other locations!
